Today is probably the least documented.
I had to do my laundry.
I head over to the laundromat.
The lady there has a little white dog. I play with the white dog for a bit. Cute.
As I’m waiting around I see a guy sitting on a chair doing the same thing. Waiting for his laundry to be done. I go up to him and hand him an invitation. I give him the tagline, “Hey there. My name’s Francisco Corbett and I’m an artist visiting from Canada. Can I invite you to a show I’m doing here in Red Hook tomorrow?” This guy shows a lot of interest. His name is Glenn Usher. He’s a really nice guy. He tells me he works in TV. He’s a producer and screenplay writer. We still follow each other. He still checks in with me from time to time. He’s a good man.
I tell Eric we need to go to CSI rentals.
I’m happy I went with CSI Rentals. Apparently Danny Devito lives just above their Manhattan location and rents from them all the time. Next time I’ll rent from the Manhattan location.
We leave the rental store and I’m hopping around the street. It worked. We have the projector. It works with my camera, we’re good.
I head back to the studio.
I work. Finishing up everything I need to do before the show the next day.
Time to rest before the big day. Done.
